The 3D shape recognition function will be introduced at the 74th Kansai CAE Conference to be held on Thursday, November 26.
In recent years, deep learning technology has been making great strides in the field of 2D imaging and other areas, and we will present the results of our research and development in order to apply it to the CAD, CAM and CAE applications in the manufacturing industry that require 3D shapes.
For example, the following seven types of bolt head shapes can be correctly recognized from 3D mesh information.
